Day 1. Johannesburg
Depart Saturday from Sydney International Airport heading to Johannesburg, crossing the international dateline. We arrive at Tambo International Airport Saturday afternoon Johannesburg time. Day 2. Johannesburg
Recovery Sunday today, enjoy a lie in before doing some discovering of your own. We will gather tonight for dinner. **Lunch is at your own expense today. (B,D)
Day 3/4/5. Pretoria – Cape Town
Embark on the Blue Train’s opulent 2-night journey from Pretoria to Cape Town, indulging in unmatched luxury and captivating experiences. As the clock strikes noon, relish a sumptuous lunch amid diverse landscapes, setting the stage for an evening of sophistication where dinner is a refined affair. Breakfast onboard precedes an off-train excursion at Kimberley Station, exploring historical sites like the iconic Big Hole and Open Mine Museum. Day 6. Cape Town
Our drive through the city centre takes us past famous landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope, St. Georges Cathedral, the Company Gardens and Malay Quarter, also known as the Bo-Kaap. We continue to Table Mountain, ascending by the revolving cable car for 360 degree views. We then take time to explore the diverse beauty of Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, a natural World Heritage site. Tonight, GOLD Restaurant provides an immersive dining experience, showcasing African culture. The evening starts with a traditional handwashing ritual, followed by a diverse African-inspired menu. Day 7. Cape Town
Today we take a journey to explore the Cape Peninsula, starting with a Seal Island cruise from Hout Bay harbour. We then continue the scenic drive to Chapman’s Peak, culminating at the Cape of Good Hope. Ascending 286 meters via The Flying Dutchman Funicular, we enjoy breathtaking views from the lighthouse. The afternoon unfolds at Boulders Beach, home to an endangered colony of African penguins. B,L,D)
Day 8/9/10. Kruger National Park
Today we take a direct flight to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport where we are transferred to Mdluli Safari Lodge, marking the beginning of our thrilling 3-night adventure in Kruger National Park. Our lodge takes its inspiration from the raw beauty of the African continent. Perfectly positioned within the southwestern region of the Kruger National Park, South Africa iconic safari destination and home to the Big Five: lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo. Day 12. Zimbabwe

Tonight, enjoy the Boma – dinner and drum show, a must do in Victoria Falls, a dining and entertainment experience, specialising in traditional African food, drumming and dancing. Day 13. Johannesburg
This morning, we leave Victoria Falls catching a direct flight back to Johannesburg and transferred to our hotel. Upon arrival, you will be met and privately transferred with English speaking guide and driver from Tambo International Airport (JNB) to Peermont DOreale Grande Hotel. 2 Nights: 5-star Peermont Dóreale Grande Hotel at Emperors Palace, Johannesburg (B,D) **Lunch is at your own expense today.
Day 14. Johannesburg
Today we take a guided tour exploring Soweto and its landmarks, including Nelson Mandela’s and Desmond Tutu’s houses, and the Hector Pieterson Memorial. Spend a few hours at the Apartheid Museum delving into the era’s history. Afterward, transfer to Tambo International Airport for an overnight flight back to Sydney.
